Sewing Bag
Masterclass
The Best Sewing Bag ever - in our opinion!
At this one-day masterclass you will make this gorgeous sewing bag in a fabric of your choice. You'll also learn a number of skills applicable to a range of projects.
The workshop is from 9.30am - 5.15pm and is suitable for all levels of experience. A fabulous homemade lunch and refreshments throughout
the day are included.

Skills we teach during the Masterclass include:

The bag has a large central area surrounded by pockets which are stitched around the inside. The pockets are of differing widths - you decide the sizes to fit your individual items.
The bag is brilliant for organising and carrying all of your sewing paraphernalia. I made mine a few years ago and use it all the time - at home as well as for workshops .
The photographs show the contents of my bag, it’s amazing how much can be accommodated and the best thing is that that I know exactly where everything is!

Your Tutor
Alison Batchelor
I started my first patchwork in 1973, when this age-old craft was increasing in popularity. Since then I have designed and produced innumerable pieces and continue to sew on a daily basis. I have City & Guilds in Patchwork & Quilting and Adult Teaching qualifications and have been teaching for over 12 years at both beginner and more advanced levels. I am delighted to be leading this workshop at Tig's Barn and hope to see you on one of my courses. By the end of the workshop you will have learnt techniques that you will be able to apply to projects of your own. You will also have a wonderful sewing bag that will serve you well for years to come, or, if you can bear to parted from it - a fabulous gift for a sewing friend/relative!
